My run today was amazing just like
last week. I drove out to the university for a run in the woods. I was out there for two hours again and didn't see another soul. Perfect. Anyway here are a couple pictures. I notice new things just about every time.

my view after tripping on a root |
Tripped on a root and ended up looking up at the sky. Of course as a good blogger, I had to pull out my camera :-). If I wouldn't have fallen, I wouldn't have noticed that beautiful blue sky.
Have a great weekend everyone!
Looks like a lovely run!
ReplyDeleteI'm constantly checking myself during my runs to keep the camera in my pocket. Passed an eerie Hitchcock-esque flock of 1000+ black birds this morning and forced myself to keep moving ... now I regret it!
hahaha I love that you take a picture after a fall :D lol great!!!!
ReplyDeleteWell, that's one way to look up, eh? Hope you're okay!
ReplyDeleteAt last!! I've been trying to comment on your blog unsuccessfully for a week now! I love that you fell and immediately knew it was blogworthy.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if maybe God thought you needed to move your eyes up to see that beautiful blue sky and how it made such a great back drop for that tree, so he threw a root in your way ;-)
Yep definitely a true blogger. It reminds me of my first clipless pedal fall. My husband was right there with a camera, and like a good blogger, I stayed down long enough for a picture.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pics!
That log cabin is pretty cool
ReplyDeleteI am impressed you remember to take a pic after the tumble
all that's missing is zombies, and you dealing them with your fuel belt of course.
ReplyDeleteHahahaha...Always the optimist huh?:DD
ReplyDeleteNice view(s). Love the Solo Trail run.
(I just signed up for a 42k Trail Mountain run...AND a 24hour ultra. (Want more information?;)
I'm glad I'm not the only one who trips in the woods!
