Tomorrow is the day I start to change and become a morning person. It's not going to be easy at all, but I'm determined to do it. One of the useful things about blogging is having somewhere to write down things you are going to do then hold yourself accountable to do them. One reason I was able to continue and finish my
half ironman was because I blogged about the race for weeks ahead of time and didn't want to post a DNF. Anyway, there you have it. Tomorrow my alarm will be set for 5:30 (maybe even earlier) instead of 6:30 and I'm going to get up and exercise.
Here are a few pics from the weekend ride. I spent two hours off road and had a blast.

I know the only reason I finished your race was bc I'd blogged about it. Probably the only reason I started it, too...I was beat that week.
ReplyDeleteWootwoo! I will be thinking of you when I'm up at that time as well. Although...by the time I get up you will have already been up for a couple hours...with the time difference and all;)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures Mike.
And even better meal capture;)
TRAIN ON!
I just pushed my alarm back to 4:30 so I could start getting longer runs in on the weekdays. I'll be thinking of you. Hang tough!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes on your new goal. The steak is my favorite pic.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics of the trail, especially like the one with the deer. Morning workouts will get a little easier once we turn the clocks back!
